  Check in!  This will be my last blog post before we go - all of the details I have are located in one of these four posts, so please save the blog for info. Times to check in are at 4pm on Saturday.  I am told it gets busy during the peak summer months. I need Sue, Sharon, Brett, Lara and David to meet at 3pm at the ranch for check in. To get into the homes 122 and 129 a credit card is needed for damages and I want to be sure we have the right people assigned to the homes.  And I need David, Brett and Lara in case there are any complications with kids check in, so I want us there together. A few important notes that are impacting check in: We cannot check into South Meadow 101 until Sunday. If you have been displaced for night 1, I have already communicated to you where you are staying for that first night.  Older kids will likely be camping; if it gets too cold to do that, hopefully they can stay at the Pace house. Anyone over the age of 7 who is not listed as staying in a Black But

  Meals!   We can’t wait to make time to eat and connect together.   As of now, there are no dining plans and they will be made once we have all arrived. When making plans, know that  we are 27 adults and 11 children (two children being very young).   Please check to make sure your house doesn’t specifically call out that you cannot host a large group.   From what I can see, the houses that were rented from Black Butte ranch direct (122, 129 and 101) do not have a ‘no events’ clause in the contract/policies; but the houses that are VRBO (Pace house and 102) do state that we cannot host a large event there.   I am certain every home doesn’t anticipate hosting this large of a group, but I also don’t believe they are going to kick off for a one time event provided we are respectful. If you want to make reservations in advance at a restaurant, it is advisable to reserve at Robert’s Pub in advance. You can do this on the Black Butte website.

White Water Rafting | Day Trip August 8, Monday | Ages 4+ Please see below for information on how to sign up for a rafting trip for Monday August 8.  Our tour operator is  River Drifters .  Action Needed: We have spots held and you need to reserve on your own using this link by   July 16 latest . House Situation How houses will work: There will be no shared food and drinks between homes, with the exception of the people staying in the two kids houses (SM 101 and 102) Each house will determine how they want to handle their own food and drink costs Each house will have a 'captain' who will work on meals, food, bedrooms for that house.   South Meadow 101 : Captain is Dave!
